French MPs have passed a law that makes it illegal to pay for sex and imposes fines of up to 3,750 euro for those buying sexual acts. Those convicted would also have to attend classes to learn about the conditions faced by prostitutes. It has taken more than two years to pass the controversial legislation because of differences between the two houses of parliament over the issue. Some sex workers protested against the law during the final debate. The demonstrators outside parliament in Paris, numbering about 60, carried banners and placards one of which : ;Don#39;t liberate me, I#39;ll take care of myself;, the AFP news agency reports. Members of the Strass sex workers#39; union say it will affect the livelihoods of prostitutes, estimated to number between 30,000 and 40,000. But supporters of the law have said it will help fight trafficking networks. It will also make it easier for foreign prostitutes to get a temporary residence permit in France if they agree to find jobs outside prostitution. ;The most important aspect of this law is to accompany prostitutes, give them identity papers because we know that 85% of prostitutes here are victims of trafficking,; Socialist MP Maud Olivier, who sponsored the legislation, told the Associated Press news agency. The law was passed in the final vote on the bill in the lower house of parliament by 64 to 12 with 11 abstentions, France#39;s Le Monde newspaper reports. Those found guilty for paying for sex will have to pay a first time fine of 1,500 euros, which will more than double for a repeat offence. /201604/436578。

1. Whether the restaurant he chose is not only something you like but something that reflects positively on him, as if choosing Olive Garden speaks volumes about the purity of his soul. One of the worst things that can happen to a guy on a date is if their date doesn#39;t like the . The only things worse than that is if our date dies while on the date. And for whatever reason, if we take you to a restaurant we really love, and you don#39;t love it, then we#39;ll never get married. As if ;we don#39;t both love the same Italian bistro; is a valid reason for a breakup.1. 2. The fact that he basically has to pick you up in a giant garbage can. Some guys really care about their cars, and are out in the driveway every Sunday washing and detailing it. The rest of us drive around smashing fast food into our faces and throwing empty Gatorade bottles into the back seat. This is fine when we#39;re the only ones who have to drive in it, but it#39;s super embarrassing when we forget that our floor is covered in granola bar wrappers after we pick you up.2. 3. If he chose the right shirt. This is the one fashion thing we have to worry about. We#39;re not worried about our pants (unless we had a split-second moment of panic and grabbed our old JNCOs) and we can get by on our shoes. But if we screwed up the shirt, we#39;re in trouble. Maybe we tried to choose something daring and realized once we got there that we look like a Vegas magician. Or we wore a new shirt for the first time and discovered it puffs up awkwardly in the center, making it look like we#39;re trying to hide a part that#39;s growing out of our torso.3. 4. If he#39;s talking enough or if he#39;s just overcompensating and dominating the conversation. A lot of that is our date#39;s personal preference. This would be much easier to figure out if we were psychic.4.

7.Statues7. There are plenty of statues in North Korea, courtesy of state funds funneled into propaganda. North Korea has gotten so good at building statues that they have become something of an export for the Hermit Kingdom, with Zimbabwe recently taking delivery of two statues of Zimbabwean President Robert Mugabe for million. North Korea has completed other projects for countries including Angola, Egypt, Equatorial Guinea, Ethiopia, and even Germany. The art projects are produced at the Mansudae Art Studio, a massive factory employing 4,000 North Koreans, including 1,000 artists. Zimbabwe isn#39;t the biggest customer North Korea has had, however. In the early 2000s, North Korea was contracted by Namibia to build a gigantic war memorial in the capital of Windhoek for million. North Korea was also contracted to build the Namibian New State House, the equivalent of the US Capitol, and construction was completed in 2008. North Korea#39;s most impressive work, however, is to be found in Senegal, where Mansudae constructed the African Renaissance Monument, a massive bronze statue standing at 50 meters, commemorating Senegal#39;s 50th independence anniversary. 6.Fine Dining6. It may surprise you that one can find restaurants serving ;authentic North Korean; food scattered throughout Asia, complete with top-notch entertainment that involves traditional dancing to a mix of North Korean songs and Western pop. And it#39;s not just a handful of restaurants. Since the 1990s, North Korea has run a whole chain of eateries known as Pyongyang Restaurants, and there are estimated to be up to 100 branches across Asia. The restaurants serve three purposes: They raise money for the regime, finance the North Korean embassy in the country they operate in, and launder money from the regime#39;s illegal activities. And if one digs deeper, one finds that the staff are not free to leave and go, as their families back in North Korea will suffer if they do. The waitresses are watching each other for signs of disloyalty, the chef is watching the waitresses, and someone is watching the chef. 5.Textiles5. The North Korean–Chinese border is a hotbed of economic activity. It#39;s estimated that up to a quarter of Dandong#39;s residents do business that involves North Korea. One example of such economic activity are textile factories run and staffed by North Koreans. Exported under ;Made in China; labels, it is impossible to tell that the clothes manufactured in such places come from North Korea. Export of textiles from North Korea is nothing new, with a Dutch company first importing shirts from the country back in the 1970s. Although textile exports fell in the 1990s, they have picked up again, and firms in the Netherlands and Germany have experience in dealing with North Korea. One attraction to manufacturing in North Korea is that labor costs are some of the cheapest in Asia, while the workforce is skilled and experienced. Minimum wage is set at a month, making garment production 30 percent cheaper than in China. 4.Fake US Banknotes4. If North Korea has to be ranked number one in the world in something besides totalitarianism and insanity, it would be the manufacture of counterfeit banknotes. The US Secret Service occasionally claims that North Korean–manufactured counterfeit 0 bills, also known as ;supernotes,; are the most sophisticated fake money in the world. This is not surprising, considering the lengths North Korea went to in manufacturing them, using machinery from Japan, paper from Hong Kong, and ink from France. North Korean counterfeit money is so good that the US government introduced a new 0 bill in 2013, with new security features specifically designed to counter North Korean counterfeiting. And those new features are very much needed. Supernotes are printed on the same type of cotton-and-linen paper as the US banknotes, using the same type of Swiss-manufactured printing press, and using a very similar type of ink. Originally, the North Koreans collected banknotes to bleach and reprint, but they later learned how to manufacture the paper from scratch. /201608/463509。

That was 24 years ago.;在1992年,他就给自己立好了的墓碑。 In addition, Suryanto said Mbah’s family has aly prepared a gravesite for him - near his children’s graves. Whether or not he will ever be listed as the world#39;s oldest man however is open to question, as the paperwork has so far not been independently verified. If so he will join to others without verifiable records who are purportedly older than Mbah - 171-year-old James Olofintuyi from Nigeria and 163-year-old Dhaqabo Ebba from Ethiopia. Dhaqabo Ebba。These days, his grandchildren say Mbah mostly sits listening to the radio because his eyesight is too poor to watch television . For the past three months, he has had to be spoon-fed and bathed as he has become increasingly frail. When asked what his secret to longevity is, Mbah replied: ;The recipe is just patience.;被问到长寿秘诀是什么时,Mbah回答说:“秘方就是耐心。” /201608/463230。

It#39;s notoriously hard to tell what guys are thinking, in regards to the takeout you picked for dinner or what he sees for your future as a couple. But if he thinks these 4 things are true about the two of you, he probably believes your relationship has real, long-term potential. 1. You have the same goals. It#39;s important that you both see yourselves starting a family together (or not), or living in the suburbs, or backpacking across the world. Being on the same page is going to be way more important in the long run. It#39;s way more important than both of you being super into Twenty One Pilots or both having surprisingly similar Netflix recommendations. You can always buy two TVs if you hate the same shows, but you can#39;t go off and have a second secret family if your partner doesn#39;t want one. I mean, you can, but that#39;s really unhealthy.1. 2. They understand what you need from them and when. It#39;s less about being kind and caring, and more about knowing when to be kind and caring. Maybe if you#39;re upset, you#39;d rather be alone than have your partner in your face trying to help. Your partner needs to be respectful of your emotional boundaries and needs (and vice versa). Understanding each other#39;s nuances goes a long way, especially if you#39;re not always vocal about what you really need.2. 3. You#39;ve aly been through the tough times. No relationship needs a trial by fire, but if you#39;ve helped each other through some of the darker moments, you aly know that even at your worst, your relationship is stable.3. 4. You know how to fight, but you also know how to make up. Bottling up your feelings to avoid a fight is easy, but it#39;s going to be awful in the long term. Having lots of fights isn#39;t bad, as long as you know how to make up afterward.4.

These days, cell phones play a vital role in our daily lives. More and more people from all walks of life would rather spend time on their cell phones than communicate with others. Nevertheless, the situation is more dire when it comes to parents. When parents use their cell phones instead of spending time with their children, some research shows that children are more likely to develop language delays and disorders. 84-year-old Qian Youqiong is a well-known pediatrician in Chengdu, Sichuan province. Early in November 2013, Qian published an article appealing to parents to put away their cell phones and have more communication with their children. Two and half years later, the situation has only gotten worse.84岁的钱友琼是四川省成都市的知名儿科医生。 Qian encounters three to four cases of children with language difficulties on a weekly basis. ;I am worried the trend is going to rise with parents relying more and more on their cell phones,; he says. One boy named Bobo came to Qian unable to even say ;dad; at the age of 4. After ruling out other potential causes, a lack of language stimulation became the likely reason for Bobo#39;s delayed development. Qian found that Bobo#39;s parents both spend a great deal of time on their cell phones every day and rarely make efforts to talk to Bobo. In order to avoid this problem, Qian urges parents to go out of their way to spend more time talking to and communicating with their children instead of on their cell phones, so that children are able to develop language skills at the proper time and pace. /201605/441081。
